We’ve been delighted with the outcome of the program of work completed with our Board, Management, and team creating a very clear strategic plan and blueprint keeping us all accountable. Donna worked with us using the ‘4 Pillars of Profitability’, and as the Chairperson of our community bank, I’m thrilled that after several years of not achieving the results we needed, we have now achieved every one of our big picture goals, paying off our debt, creating dividends for our shareholders and giving thousands of dollars to community need projects. In recognition, we recently received a standing ovation from our shareholder group at our Annual General Meeting. We are now looking to start our next round to grow our company even further.

Our company was severely ravaged by COVID as well as coming off the back of several years of unfocused management, poor strategic choices, and multiple operational areas that required immediate change. In very late 2020, our new Board was appointed, and we quickly realized that the situation required something very different to bring about immediate change whilst building a company for the future. We needed to turn around the company quickly and get profitable again. We were introduced to Donna and the 4 Pillars of Profitability in early 2021. I was impressed by Donna’s complete confidence from start to finish saying that if we worked together and implemented the program as it needed to be we would turn our company around and pay for the program in the first 90 days. We did this, and we have been working with her and the program turning the hotel around ever since, growing to the next level. We were recently recognized as finalists in the Tourism Awards for Tourism Excellence, and we can see the future for our company and the significant new growth being created.
